Motive Products Brake Bleeder

My Motive Products bleeder works well for flushing and for bleeding air when work is done at one of the wheels. It does not work so well when trying to bleed an entire system. It seems like the bleeder does not push the fluid with enough velocity to push the air past the high spots. Wondering why that was the case, I looked inside the bleeder and found it has a tiny tube to draw the fluid from the bottom of the container. Would it make sense to modify the bleeder so that tube is larger? Is there any way a higher flow rate could cause damage to the brake system?
