1994 202 auxiliary fan replacement
I am going to replace the auxiliary fans on my 1994 C Class 220 and have read a lot about these fans on this site, which has been very helpful. Can these fans be replaced without removing the condensor? How big of a job would it be? Thanks for any help you can give.

I had the fans out on my 190e W201. I found the secret, for me, was to take the front bumper off. That was easy, just four easy to get to bolts. If it works for you be careful of the temperature sensor, you should take that off first, the weight of the bumper will make short work of its wiring.
And my condensor stayed put, just be careful and don't put a screwdriver through it |

I have taken the fans on my 202 off without any difficulty. The bumper doesn't need to come off. There are a few plastic clips that are an expansion plug type. You need to pull the center out and they will come out without trouble. The rest is simple when you get the few plastic pieces out of the way.

Thanks to both of you for your help. I will give this project a try and let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
