Is that a question or a statement?

Your finally pressures look good and the temps look fine. What is with the final line? Something about suking.

i was having trouble with my a/c and after searching and trying to piece together everything in the posts, i decided to add more r134. i didn't want to destroy the compressor,as iusually do,with more coolant. i thought this may help the next schmo when he has pressures and not sure what's next.
about the "sux"..63f center vent temp. in palm beach county,in traffic "suxs"

You were right on about what to do with those pressures and your technique deserves due credit.

Your right in South Florida traffic it might do well to change the drive pulley ratio on the compressor to spin it at idle at the same rate as it would normally be at 2000. Since all you ever get to do is idle.

Unfortunately so many people are leaving S. Florida and coming this way. Gainesville's sprawl is starting to crawl just like down south.

excellent idea about that pulley,it can't hurt.
i feel for you with the movement to your county. i went thru the influx from broward (ft. laud.) who didn't like their influx from dade (miami). now my neighbors are going to indian river (vero) because of the extra 6.5% county gas tax and opera house and convention center that property owners pay for ,but cannot afford to go to.
i'm starting to see the benefit of a double-wide on a hill in Alaska.
thanks for the pulley tip.

Refrigerant should be added as gas.
Can should not be "inverted".
If it goes in too slow this way, place can in container of warm water.

whatever u care to do, all the old a/c guys i asked about liquid or gas to service all said liquid, slowly. i tend to do what works for me as you would.
