When you go back-up, does the back becomes the front , keeping the same logic (the direction you are traveling)??????

I saw a van like that around here a while ago. The painting was well done and, when in motion on the road, VERY disorienting.

I first saw it in my peripheral vision and my instinct was to swerve away from what looked like an imminent collision.
