W124 ACC testing manual
 

I've got a service manual on CD for my w126 '87 300SDL. There is a supplement for 1986 that covers the push-button automatic climate control. Its 14 pages covering the basic location of the various sensors and wiring and vacuum diagrams. It states that for function and test procedures I should refer to the Model 124 pages 15-39. I don't have this on my CD. Does anyone know where I can get a copy?

The 124 CD isn't organized by pages, rather by jobs like 83-604 "Testing Electrical Components of the Automatic Climate Control" Does it refer to a number like that?

All of the text refers to the conditons at the time of printing. The manual is directing one to the climate control manual that is for the 124 body. That manual is included on the 124 CD.

The original print manual is 3/8 inch thick. The only thing that one is directed to the 124 manual is for the testing of the sensors. The locations wouldn't be the same as the case is different for 126 versus 124. The way the system works is the same.

The 1986 supplement is the only ACC document on my CD that is relevant to the push-button ACC with the 7-port vac distributor. Its pages are numbered A1-A14 and shows the location of all of the sensors. I suspect that there is a 124 manual that has all of the pages A1-A39 and covers testing and troubleshooting of the system not contained in the supplement that I have on my CD. I think that is what I'm looking for.
