An airpump is strictly to help reduce exhaust emissions. It helps the catalytic converter, etc.
Sorry, can't offer you any comments on your specific car re. replacement.

I suggest that you do a search of this site for "A.I.R." to obtain more information about this expensive pump and whether replacement is really needed.

My previous reply, suggesting a search for the keyword A.I.R. gives poor results. Instead, try a search for the keyword : airpump disconnect.
