All of a sudden the windsheild wipers, radio, everything electrical stays on even if the key is not in the ignition. How do I start looking for thr short? Thanks

Can you shut them off with the key in the ignition and in the on position? Which car??

Sorry if that wasn't clear! I can shut them all off either way, the problem is that they can keep working even though the key is not in the ignition. 1990 300 SE. Thanks!

Sounds like your ignition switch has failed. This is generally not a huge repair to accomplish.
