I have an 87 2.3 16. When I park the car after driving for 15 minutes or more, the the coolant overflow tube discharges fluid. it's not a full on pressure release, just a slow trickle, lets out a lot of fluid. I have to put in coolant every few days. I have replaced the thermostat and the fan belt.

I'll pressure test your radiator cap,if cap can't hold pressure coolant will force out by coolant system pressure, replace it.

Is the engine overheating? If so, then the new t-stat is defective or the radiator is partially occluded. Another possibility is the water pump, but I'd eliminate the first two options before suspecting the pump.
