head bolt torque

Hi I'm new to this list.
what do I torque the head bolts on a 95 c280 to ???]
new bolts and head gasket are being installed

Jeff, oil thread and shoulders of the bolts, torque in proper order
See correct torques in MrCjames post below.

No offense but I would like to correct the information you are working with.

1st Stage___55 Nm
2nd Stage__90 degrees
3rd Stage__90degrees

Unless there is a bulletin that slipped past me this is what I have followed for the last 6 years, and it is in mb's specs.

MrCjames, you are absolutly correct. I gave torques for M112 engine. 95 C280 has M104.

Just to inject a little more humour here.
90 degrees = 1/4 turn.
Friend of mine had a bad day one time & promptly used 1/2 turn for 90 degrees by mistake ( or too many beers ).

If you are doing the 112's as much as the 104's were done, I can see the confusion.
