82 240d
I have an old 240d with 256,000 miles. The body and motor are in good shape but the floor boards are pretty shot, so much so that the drivers seat mounts are coming right through. Is it worth fixing or is it time to part with this old friend?

It certainly looks worth saving to me. Replacement floor pans are available for the W123.

I'd agree with Rick...
have had to replace these on many cars...not a major problem unless the rust has extended into the frame...even that just makes things a little more complicated.
I'd do the fix without a second thought. |

In response to a email from dardo, here's a thread that contains some more info on floor pans. Ken300D's floor pan adventure
