I've noticed that when my car has run for awhile and the temp. needle rises above 90 and near 120 and I'm expecting the aux. fan to kick in, it doesn't come on. I,ve check the fan to make sure that it works(by jumping it to the fuse box and it does work). The fan seems to not be getting power. I've checked all of the fuses, they seem to be fine. Can you tell me if there,s a relay somewhere that I can check?

Check the aux fan temp sensor. It's located near the back of the cylinder head. Has two conductors. Short the conductors. If the fan kicks on, you've got a bad sensor.

The aux fan should come on for two reasons.
1. the pressure of the A.C. refrigerant will get too a high level and it will come on via the switch on the drier bottle (red)
2. The temp switch (green 3 pole) will sense too high engine temp and send it on.

We have the service CD for the 124 in stock.
