Oil Flow Direction - C43

I am wanting to know if the oil flows from the oil pump to the filter and then to the engine.

Or if the oil flows from the oil pump to the engine and then back into the oil filter.

Also does anyone know what type of oil pressure is being pushed through the newer modular V-8 engines?

I would think the flow pattern would follow the first statement but I would just like to know for certain.

Jeff

It would stand to reason that you would want clean, clear oil doing the lubrication. I would think your first thought pattern would be gut instinct, but who knows with the new stuff.

PSI = to or > .7 bar at 700 RPM's
= to or > 3.0 bar at 3000 RPM's
