* Sound from behind steering wheel
 

My 93' 300E has a strange humming/whirring sound from behind/below the steering wheel. It happens every time I drive the car, after making a right hand turn, going 2 blocks down my street. Not sure if it is related to "warming" up, but it only does it then, I never notice it later. It lasts for about 2-5 seconds. Almost like some sort of pump or something spinning.

Anyone ever hear this, or encounter it in their W124?

Speedometer cable maybe?

Sounds more like an electrical pump of sorts.

No big deal. I will duplicate sound, and have Donnie listen to it, next time he has it.
