Hi,
Having read the various posts about climate control and not finding the answer.....
Is there supposed to be air coming from the defrost vents all the time no matter what buttons are pushed? I get a hurricane of air from the rear vent when in AC mode, but only wimpy air from all of the other vents.
Is this correct? I have replaced fuse #5 thinking that it might have something to do with it.
Thanks
Graham

The air should come most strongly out of the center ducts in the A/C position.

You probably have a bad vacuum servo to the center duct or defrost duct. They are on the same leg; one opens and the other closes on the same signal. For safety sake the system defaults to defrost when the vacuum system is failing. Probbably not a DIY job.
