1998 W210 E430 Timing chain tensioner bolt
Hello all, I have been reading some earlier post about the engine sitting for awhile, and when you start it up it starts to tap for about 30sec.. That one of the causes could be the timing chain tensioner bolt. All of the post that I read nobody actually said how to do it, or where the bolt is that has to come out. I looked at the engine and I was looking on the passenger side for it, up near the front of the engine.. Does anybody know how to replace it ?

112's and 113's are a bit noisey on start, however there is a updated tensioner for them. 112-050-07-11. I have no idea why they updated the tensioner.

In order to change the tensioner I will need to take apart the front of the engine I was hoping to just change the bolt.. If possible since it just started..
