i replaced my rear shocks on my 84 300SD with KYB's i know i shoulda went for bilstien but i got them for 10 bucks each. anyways i am surprized about the amount of improvment the car feels now. i suppose between this and my W116 i never really rode in a mercedes with proper shocks. but anyways i notice my rear doesn't suffer as much hanging butt syndrom anymore. maybe i can put a before and after picture together, but its definetily changed (the rear is higher). and i always thought the shocks does not affect the ride height.
