I assume the kompressor clutch on my C 230 K is of the electro-magnetic type.
The question is, what activates it ?
Is it throttle position, speed sensor, vacuum signal, or a combination of various inputs?
Just to satisfy my curiousity.

I'd say you are on the right track as far as the inputs that are used to activate the supercharger, although I have heard on the very latest "K" engines the supercharger is always activated.
On the ones with the clutch on the supercharger, it's actually the engine control module that activates the supercharger clutch.
