Ready for those Euro lights for W126!

OK ... am finally ready for those eurolights on my W126 ... Bosch units appear to be most desired?

Where are the best places to check on price and availability?

Was thinking about doing them without the vacuum adjusting system ... will likely try and create my own solution for the wipers ...

Thanks in advance!

i think all the w126' euros will have the vacuum adjusters.

partsshop here at mercedesshop
http://www.autooptiks.com/front.htm
www.capitolwest.com-the ONLY place that sells wiper adapter kit. you must buy the lights there to get it.
www.bekkers.com
www.adsitco.com
www.ebay.com
www.puma-access.com

PERSONALLY i prefer oem, i think that would be bosch [only].

some members have other brands.

adsit sells new and used.

also do a "search" here

Thanks, Peter.

Most threads seem to support Bosch over other brands ... prices are higher than what I had noted in some previous threads. Seems like I saw Bosch in the $500 a set range somewhere ...

Thanks!

And if you really want your car to look slick, get all the euro wiper parts and put euro wipers on it. This would include the motors, brackets, panels and wiper arms. Expensive, but I guess that would depend on how much money ya got

re:mbjtc's post

i am quite sure with the cap-west adapter you can use the expensive [motors] that you already have.
price would not be that bad.

most likely they would have the best price if you keep the wiper stuff authentic 'euro'.

you should try DEPO brand .
they do a good job. not OEM but then again if you wanted to stay stock then you wouldn't be changing the lights to begin with
try www.importvision.com
talk to Ken, he'll give you a discounted price as well.
good luck.

I'm running the DEPOT brand on my W126 and have been very pleased with them.

I have the Depo brand. I read the info about them here on the forum, i believe Ashman's. and i got the info about where to buy them from the same posts.
they're great and from the looks you can't really tell if they're bosch or Depos. so why not get them from half the money.
but that's just me. I'm sure those who have tried them both would probably know about the quality and functionality better.
