Question What else to do?

I'm going to replace the valve cover gaskets because they're leaking a little on my 114k 1988 560SL. Should I be doing anything else while they're off? Thanks

order the little valve cover washers. Also check your timing chain stretch and the guide rails while the covers are off.

Check the condition of or outright replace the plastic fittings along the camshaft lubrication line.
