I posted this one about 2 weeks ago, but did not get response. Hopefully it will get attention this time.

I am trying to find the fuse for the alarm Lamps and Horn. It is shown in the schematic diag to be in F1(Fuse/Relay box),
with a Designation of F14(Aux Fuse Holder Code K). I am confused because F14 inside the Fuse Box(F1) controls one headlamp. Does anyone know where this Aux Fuse Holder is for the ATA circuit?
I am trying to diagnose a non-working ATA system on a 1991 560SEL. TIA...

The auxillary fuse holder is in the back of the fuse box. You have to take off the lid and the top. To do so you will need a long phillips screwdriver. Take off the outer lid and see if there are two fuses in there.

I just looked in my CD rom provided by MercedesShop in PartsShop, and found the locations for sure.

We sell the CD roms, they are the same that I use in the shop every day.

Pls clarify it further for me. What do you mean by back of the fuse box? Do you mean towards the firewall? or bottom of the fuse box?

After removing the lid of the fuse box, I am not sure which "top" you are reffering to that I need to remove. Furthermore, I cannot figure out which phillips screws i would need a long phillips screw driver for...

There is two covers one is over on top of other six screws have to remove befor you can remove the second cover. hope this help

Now I am really confused. I read the schematic again, found that the aux fuse holder for the ATA is referred to as a relay code K in the Fuse Box location diagram. They were right before my eyes after removing the Fuse Box(F1) lid. Theree is no cover over the aux fuse holder on my car, and did not see any phillips scres either.
The fuses QTY(2) are OK upon testing with ohmeter.

Am I looking at the same aux. fuse holder as you guys are referring to? Any sugestions on what other parts of the ATA circuit do fail? The symptom is that the alarm (lights and horn) do not come on. The 2 connectors at the front passenger footwell are connected, however, locking the car with the master key to arm, then opening the door from inside or pressing on the brake will not trigger the alarm.
