Hesitate in Engine
 
When I come to a stop at a light, the engine hesitates like it wants to cut off. What could be happening? This has happen on some occasions--not all the time.

The car has been tuned up.

Car Hesitation 1977 450 SLC
 
Sorry, forgot to give a little more detail. The car is a 1977 450 SLC and although its been tuned up, it hesitates like it wants to cut off when I come to a complete stop. The car runs fine after I get pass this point.

What could cause this type of hesitation?
