300E outside(driver's side) mirror lever glueable??
lever broke.Seems to be metal.
Phoned moonlighting MB mechanic, says I need a new mirror assembly.Worldpac has one for 125US$ Seems a tad too much since it does not include the cover.Just the mirror assembly/ But I can still use finger to adjust mirror outside manually.Mechanic says a lot of his client just dont bother reparing it cos they have one driver car. Question: can lever be glued back or welded back? Thanks.

Did the same thing to mine. Bought a new one for about $60, as I remember.

you might try epoxy glue--they're pretty darn strong.

If it was like mine, sorry, my mechanic has tried EVERYTHING for these - it's a fairly common problem.

Don't bother with trying to fix your mirror. I recently bought a really nice used passenger side mirror assembly on eBay for $25. This is a fairly typical price and they're listed quite frequently, as that mirror was used on a number of different models.
