After market remote locking

Hi,
The car is a W202 (94 C220) and although it came with central locking, it does not have a remote locking system.
How do I go about installing an after market system ?
Any system recommendation or shops in the Toronto area ?
I've contacted a couple of places, but they don't do work on vacuum systems. Is the MB dealer my only option (any idea $$$?).
Tx

In order to work with a vacuum door lock system, you need a keyless entry that can be programmed for a 2-3 second hold for that function. Almost all have that feature. In addition, you need to wire together a pair of 'Bosch' relays to trigger the vacuum pump. Easy. As long as you have a new enough Benz to use an electric vacuum pump, any competent shop should be able to wire in a keyless entry. If they refuse, keep looking.

You know, that might be an informative way to get a competent installation for any car - ask about a Benz first, even if you have a Buick.

for a total of $180 you can get DEI's remote locking, remote start, system installed. It's just a matter of finding a competent shop who would work on the car.
good luck.

If all you are looking for is keyless entry, here's a thread I started on putting a keyless entry in a W124 for less than $100.

I did it! Keyless entry for your 124 made easy (and less than $100)!

Did the same thing a year ago for my '94 C280. Took less than an hour. I also posted a thread on it, as there are differences in the installation:
