Identify This Part

Without posting a picture, I am looking at the Performance Products catalog under the Suspension diagram for a 1988 300E. The diagram labels #6 as the "drag link". I am trying to find out what that part is called so I can order it from FastLane. The online ordering doesn't list a "drag link" as an option under suspension. Any help would be appreciated.

...For what it's worth, I have tried for the last 2 years to order from Performance Products, they have have not even replied to my e mail . Try the Fast Lane, I think they are as good as you get !

Yeah, the catalog is a bit messed up on this one.
You want "Tie Rod Assembly - Center"

Try this: Steering -> Tie Rod Assembly -> Select "Show All products" instead of picking a chassis range, or you will not see the Left vs. Right vs. Center distinction. Not sure why.

Obviously, you still need to pick the right one for your chassis after seeing the whole list...

Interesting. When I can't get the part from FastLane, I use Performance Products, and never had a problem obtaining parts.

...Maybe they saw my location and decided to give it a miss. I am particularly interested in an after market burlwood shifk-knob and conversion shaft for a 1993 500E, any takers ? I had to take the centre console apart recently and found that with the one piece lever assembly, it was was very difficult to dis-assemble without being able to remove the shift knob first !
