Integrated Phone in SL320
 

Friends,
On my 96 SL 320 I have an integrated phone that I have elected not to have activated but will leave intact because that is the way the car came. I do however want to turn it off. My manuals are lost, does anyone know how to turn it off? If so let me know. Thanks!

Is it a removeable OKI portable phone or just a standard handset?

Thanks for the inquiry, it is the one that is built into the dash above the center vents, and has a handset in the console. It talks and beeps when I push the buttons, but I just want to turn it off. If you can help I would appreciate it.

There should be a small switch on the side of the phone base/cradle in the center console. I belive it has a little green dot to indicate when switched on. You may need a light as this switch is pretty darn small.
