'92 500SEL wipers...help!
 

My windshield wipers don't work at ALL...not even a hint of motor noise. The fuse is ok. Where is the next logical place to look:confused:

You car has 2 relays that control the wipers. THE main wiper relay is on the top of the rear section of the fuse box. The other one is part of the combination relay inside the fuse box in the rear relay section. Either one can cause wiper failure AS well as the motor itself.

I get a double click from this relay (main) when activating the switch....what does this indicate? I can't seem to find this part on this or any other site....is replacing this relay going to fix the problem? what is the cost of this part 140_542_00_19 ?
