what does this button operate?
 

these are dumb questions but they've been bugging me for a while.

1. on my centre console is a small button with what looks like a light marking it. is this the fog light button, or some sort of inside light function. (neither currently work on my car so i can't tell)

2. if it's not the fog lights, are the fog lights operated when you pull out the main light switch (as opposed to turning it)

Could it be the rear defroster? Pictures help.

Is it a wheel with positions 0, 1, 2, and 3? If so, it's to control the range (height) of the headlights.

centre console switch with a light on it - most likely the interior dome light. probably the rear?

foglights are switched on by pulling the light knob out to the first stop. pulling it out to the second stop is for the rear fog light.

speaker fader...maybe

I am almost sure its the speaker fader.
