S500 Trunk (open speed adjustment)???
 
Noticed that my trunk (S500) is now a bit fast, if I'm not watching, it could knock me out!!! :eek:

Is there an adjustment to the springs, or are there shock pistons like the new S500's that need to be replaced? Haven't torn the trunk apart yet!!! :p

Well this was easy. Just spring adjustments. The newer S500 has shock pistons which make opening speed real smooth. Guess I will have to save $$$ to get one of those! :D

The newer S Class cars also have springs.
