93 300E Door Panel or Trim Removal
I have an annoying little rattle coming from the drivers side door. It appears to have something to do with the piece of wood trim that runs along the door at the same height as the door opener handle. I can tap on the wood trim and it rattles. I can push against it while driving and it doesn't make a sound.
I need help understanding how to take off this piece of wood trim so I can investigate. Thanks for your help.

After removing the obvious fixings the trim panel comes off by lifting upwards - it is held to the door inner panel by plastic hooks.

On my 88 300ce, the wood trim was glued on. Did MB change this in later years?
