On my '87 190D (OM602.911) when the dehumidify button (the one above the AC) is pushed, I get cold air (w/ compressor engaged) from center vents, but hot from outer. With AC button depressed, compressor cuts out after about 45 sec.

I've checked and cleaned feedback potentiometer electrical connnection behind the glovebox, checked the serp belt tensioner, filled up on R134 -- and I'm getting a good used N6 Klima Compressor Control to snap in there. Any other suggestons? TIA

Oh, and thanks to Benzmac for help with vacuum control valve. Changed it today, and for the first time, the tranny shifts SMOOTHLY! Thanks.

Usually when I see this, it is the potentiometer or a vacuum leak. Be sure.
