Tie Rod R&R: Jack under LCA?

Does the LCA need to be supported to replace the tie rods or can I put the jack stands behind the front wheels? Im also going to be replacing the idler arm bushing and expect to be doing lots of tugging and hammering to get them out. Don't like the thought of doing that under the car with the car standing on the LCAs.

Thanks

Put em behind the front wheels. Make sure you measure the tie rods that come off and make the new ones the same length. Pretty straight forward job.
