Can some one tell the the stock compression ration of a 190E 2.6l. And also the bore and stroke.

I've searched but not been able to find much :(

2.6L is 82.9 x 80.3 mm (3.26" x 3.16"), 9.2:1 CR.

3.0L is 88.5 X 80.3 mm (3.48" x 3.16"), 9.2:1 CR.

From 4/86 to 8/88 on the 2.6 motor, the bore was 82.9mm and the stroke was 80.25mm, displacement 2599cc, compression ratio 9.2:1

From 9/88 to 8/93 the stroke was changed to 80.2mm, which changed the displacement to 2597cc, compression ratio was unchanged.

I miskeyed the bores; 82.9mm is correct for the 2.6; 88.5mm for the 3.0.
