Possible Diff swap in 95 E320 - Tech help needed

After looking through the archives I believe I have a 2.65 ratio in my 95 E320. There's a member here with a 3.06 from a 92 300CE. Can anyone tell me if this is a true "swap out" because I'm very interested in purchasing this diff. for my car.
