Where +12VDC in M119 engine bay?
Where and how can I directly tap +12VDC in the engine bay of my 1994 E420? I want to set up some relays for air horns and higher wattage headlamps.

In the area where the battery would be on the "other"24's I believe you'll find a small junction block with some pretty large gauge wires running to it, should be able to use one of those.

Thanks Gilly, I'll look into it. You're talking about the area toward the back of the engine bay on the passenger side right? I believe there is a computer "box" around there too if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, the control module box is there also. I think the control module space was needed, which is the real reason for the battery being in the trunk.

Between the control module box and the seal on top of the cowl (and also betwwen the water valve and the 2 wires, the brown and red on at the bottom of the image) is a flat plastic cover with the "grid" pattern on top, I believe you'll find it under that cover.
