I'm having trouble with my 300E 1988 124 body Merc. It stops at intersections or when I slow down to make a turn. It doesn't do it all the time, but it can happen 3 to 4 times a day. I changed the fuel pump, and all the points. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be the problem? thanks

Kathy:
You might want to check (or have checked) the Fuel Pump Relay. This has been known to cause stalling problems. Good luck! Brian |
You might try the search feature as many times this subject has been discussed. Try looking under "air flow sensor" or stalling when coasting. Many times the air flow sensor is the problem & since it's somewhat $$$$ technicians will hesitate on replacement.
