fuel pressure specs
Hello everyone,
Next in my diagnostic journey of my car problem is testing the fuel pump and fuel pressure. The car is a 1996 C220. Does anybody know the fuel pressure specs required for my injection system. And the pressure of the fuel pump's outflow directly from the pump. Any way to measure these pressure or outflow rate....I am assuming there should be a gauge, or some way to measure a volume per unit time. Thanks for all the forecoming help. mafiose, the one and only |

With the engine running at idle the pressure should be around 55 lbs sq" (3.5bar)
On the fuel rail there is a adaptor for connecting a guage to check the pressure & fuel quanity.
