560 SEL starter

I need to take out the starter on this car. Not a lot of room to work in there. Does anyone know the size of the allen bolt that holds the starter in place? Will I have to remove the exhaust to get at it? Do I need a special size ratchet tool to make the job easier?

It's been a over a year, but if i recall correctly it was a 6 or 8 mm. Ratchet was a standard 3/8 drive, but a friend of mine had a 36" (yes 3 feet) extension which was a gift from God for the job.
