w210 door slamming necessary due to airlock
Where is the air from the cabin supposed to leave the car? When all the windows are closed the last door to close has to be slammed quite hard. is this normal or is there a stuck cabin air exit somewhere? I remember seeing a GM car with the bumper off and it had a vent assembly with rubber flaps to let the air out only, is there a similar thing on MBs?
Also, any smells in the trunk are quickly noticed in the cabin, in case that is a clue. Where is the air from the trunk getting through? I never run the ac on recirc BTW, although I know that the auto ac does sometimes go to recirc. I have changed all filter sets (carbon and dust) , and the doors all close very easily unless all windows are up. Thanks, Tom |
A tight one is always better then a loose one.......

vents are located in the trunk, hidden by the sides of the bumper. It'd be pretty hard to block them entirely.
