'76 450 SLC won't start or is real difficult to get started after the engine is at operating temp. Starts fine when it is cold. Checked spark, fuel press., injector pulse - all appear to be okay. Any suggestions?

Sounds like fuel pressure bleed-off, there is a fuel accumulator back by fuel pump package that is probably the problem. When the diaphram goes bad fuel system rest pressure goes to zero almost as soon as key is off. The next time you try a hot restart try turning key on-off 10-20 times w/o using starter, this will allow fuel pump to run & somewhat revive fuel pressure.

If the accumulator keeps the pressure in the line why does it start so easily when its cold? I would think if it has been sitting all night that the pressure in the line would have disappeared.
