Unhappy Please Help 87 300e Fan Blade Removal

PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME OUT. I JUST PURCHASHED A 1987 300E. THE FAN BLADE IS COMPLETELY GONE. I THOUGHT I COULD JUST SLIP THE NEW ONE RIGHT IN. HOW DO I REMOVE THE FAN CLUTCH TO INSTALL THE BLADE.

You don't need to remove the fan clutch to install blade. Blade is held by three 5mm allen bolts. Just remove shroud so you can reach them. You also need to slip a "tool" behind the clutch to stop it from spinning (at 1 o'clock). I usually use a 3mm allen key for this. Just slip the shorter side in the small hole behind the clutch. Also, make sure that front side of blade faces front (there is a marking).
