on my 1985 500sel there is a plastic area around the metal where the key goes on the bottom is worn out with holes in it. how hard is to replace and how much would it cost to have it done.

Its not the ignition around it there is a plastic circle and wore it out

ok there is the metal area where the key goes and then there is a black palstic area around that seprate form that there is a another palastic peace that is bye the wood grain around the sterring coulm that plastic peace on the bootom where the key chain hangs is worn out
