How do I remove those plastic pieces near the front windshield, on a W123, that let's me get at the wiper mechanism below? Thanks.

There are clips (small black ones) about 8 pcs. og them hold the black mesh down. Pry them off with a flathead screw driver. Same goes for the center cover (metal sheet) < There are plastic pins < access them with hood open.
