C220 repair CD
 

I just bought a C220 and I can't find a repair manual. I have always been able to buy books for my past MB's but I hear that I have to buy a CD for this one. Can someone please enlighten me as to my options, that is if I have any. Where can I buy what I need and for how much. Thanks, Slim

Haynes UK makes one. It's a book though, not a CD.

Don't confuse those with a "repair manual." Those CD's only orient technicians with the BASICS of the car - component locations, basic interior disassembly, etc. It won't tell you how to service the car.

Back to the origional question for DIY W202 owners, is there a repair manual and/or CD for this body style?

I haven't been able to find anything that gives wiring diagrams, vacuum diagrams, etc.

Are there any sources?

Like I mentioned earlier, Haynes UK makes one. It's a bit hard to find, so you might have to order it from overseas.

I looked at the Haynes UK site and the manual covers C220, but not C280. Do you know if there is enough commonality between the C220 and C280 in the manual to be useful for a C280 owner?

I believe so. The engines are similar enough and the 280 is basically the same engine as the 220 but with two more cylinders - component locations are basically the same!
