My car is an '85 300TD Turbo. I believe it was purchased in the New England area (if that matters?). Should it have ever had a trap oxidizer on it? If it did have one at some time, I will try and check if it is still there. I kind of hope so since I have some problem with my turbo and a free new one would be mighty nice. :D

Only 85 model Calif. models had trap ox. The easiest way to determine if your car has one is to look at air filter assembly. On cars w/trap the air filter is behind right headlamp, all other cars have them on engine above the turbo.
