Need more info, ie., when does it clunk? Is is associated with anything you're doing with the steering? any recent trauma to the front end?

no trauma at all... it just clunks going over little bumps on the road.. i mean like little slopes and stuff.. not huge bumps//

Could be a bad strut. Could be a ball joint. Could be a bushing on sway bar. Actually could be a number of things. I'm betting on the strut. Have them checked.

well, if they're new and in replacing them you got rid of the noise and the noise you describe is the same now as it was then, two possibilities come to mind. One, a strut with premature failure. Two, a strut that is loose, either at the top in the strut tower or at the bottom on the hub carrier. Maybe a shot in the dark, but you might get the wheel bearing on that side checked. Could be on it's way out... Good Luck..
