The price of not having a garage

I don't have a garage for my two cars and with the current rain and wind storm in the NE a huge tree branch came crashing down sending a smaller branch through the back window of the wife's '99 E300 Turbodiesel. Could've been worse I guess - if I had a garage the larger branch, as big as a medium size tree would have caved in a garage! I have full glass coverage but I've heard the rear windshield with the radio antenna in it is expensive. I hope nothing happens to the wagon over night. I had a spare shower curtain to cover the hole in the '99. I'm bummin'.

Thanks. Doesn't look like there is any body damage around the gasket area, only glass everywhere. The rear deck got a little wet and probably the speakers too. I put a spare shower curtain and car cover on it - held down with fire wood logs and it looked like it held the wind and rain back OK last night. I got really lucky. I took the car out last yesterday and where I park it probably saved it. My wife has a tendency to park it as close to the front of the driveway as possible and that's where the tree fell - closest to the front of the driveway. I don't have a digital camera so I can't send pix but the downed Oak tree was an impressive sight. The tree had that awful green Oak smell too - like vomit.
