groans from w123 Bearing?
When I turn the car left it groans. Its Like a warble growling noise. Doesn't happen at all turning right or driving straight. It has to be going at least 25 mph for it to happen. It has newer Michelins and front end work. Tires pressure is about 30-35Lbs. The steering is responsive and not loose at all.

Yup, it sounds like a bad bearing. Can you tell if it's coming from the right-hand side?

Sounds like it comes from the left, but hard to say. I just pulled the bearings out and they look good, but they seem awfully loose as a set. Know what I mean? Without a new set to compare them to its hard to tell. The middle ring seems to want to pop out of there. The whole set seems sloppy.

I would try to find a like brg and compare the two. Excessive clearance indicates a worn bearing but you have to quantify "excessive". They are pretty cheap so I would just go ahead and replace if I had any doubt about them.
