I NEED TO KNOW IF A 190E 2.6 CYLINDER HEAD WILL FIT PROPERLY ON A 300E 3.0 BLOCK.

Look on E-bay. You can buy a rebuilt 300E head for $795 with no core.

No the head won't work!! The 2.6 engine has completly different combustion chamber size & valve size. Also there are different combustion chamber designs on different year models on both 3.0 & 2.6 engines
