Check Engine Light- code P0180

The CEL came on the other day on my 98 E300D so I and I went to the local Autozone to get a reading. Turned out to be a P0180 error code which is "a malfunction in the electrical circuit for engine fuel temperature sensor A", but they couldn't help me. The CEL went away after a two days, but it is back again today after my fill-up this morning.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks
