Preventive medicine

I am about to embark on changing the serpentine belt, belt tensioner, and tensioner shock, in my 95 E-320. Anything that I should be aware, tricks of the trade, or preventive things I should else change while I am doing this?

Your suggestions and advice will be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Oscar

If there's any evidence of an oil leak in tha area, replace the upper timing cover seal (U-shaped seal), though this job is considerably more comprehensive than what you're originally planning on doing.

Don't know the mileage but if it is 160k with the original water pump, fan clutch and thermostat I would include them too.
